Blanc de Noir Chinese wine? Well I’m about to give it a try with Chateau Changyu Moser! 🥳
Back in 1892, Zhang Bishi, imported more than 500,000 vines from the US and Europe, paving the way for modern Chinese wine production. Fast forward to today, aiming to produce top quality Chinese wine! 🇨🇳
Tried the Blanc de Noir last weekend, developed by chief wine maker, Lenz Moser. Honestly, blew my expectations away! Really nicely balanced, very special, never had something like it. For sure interesting to give it a try!
Never heard of the concept of a white Cabernet Sauvignon before. But its…
The golden wrap bottle, the Purple Air, the estate wine of Changyu. Only 6,300 bottles of this special and ultra rare wine were made. In a blind tasting with the Financial Times, the Purple Air came in number 2 and only Lafite Rotschild came higher, but the wine did come higher than the Ao Yun, Ch Léoville Las Cases, Ch Pontet-Canet, Ch Figeac 2 and Opus One 2019 Napa Valley. Looking forward trying it!
