such a moment came in 2009 when we agreed to work together on a newly to be built Chateau in Ningxia ( 1.200 km west of Beijing, 1.100m altitude and 3.000 sunshine hours ). we did not have the name hence this "old" photo - omg ;-). And yet, it was a decision made for life - working on something truly game changing which only years later 6 years later really started when i had the honor of taking over as chiefwinemaker of changyu Moser XV in Ningixa.
Luck, gut, and the vision to stay with China and do something truly unique - together with partner Changyu. Ho out to the world and present wines of world class, innovate and produce something unique such a "white cabernet" ( still the only one in the world and rocking globally ) and top reds which we benchmark with the greats from this world ( lafite, sassica, sena, opus one, batonage, and many more ) - the jury is out there.
