Falstaff | China: Changyu builds wine theme park

The “Changyu” wine theme park is scheduled to open in Shanghai in August 2021. Initial plans have already been announced, but the design will not be finalized until the end of March, according to the “thedrinksbusiness” website. The entire area extends over 7,000 square meters and is located in an underground corridor in the port of Shanghai, between the "Gongping Road" and the "Qinhuangdao" pier.

According to initial information, the park will be divided into two thematic areas. In the “experience area” the aim is to impart know-how about wine types, terroir and wine production using the latest technology. Oak barrels from all 13 Changyu wineries will also be on display. The second part of the park will specialize in food pairing. In a catering area, various meals are served with matching wine.
