Morning tasting featuring Changyu Moser XV White Cabernet

Morning Tasting and lunch with @super.grapes @winesfromanotherw @claudio_rafael_martins 3(4)(...) MA'D MOSER 🇧🇬 is a collaboration between Austrian winemaker Lenz Moser, Karoly Kovas, owner of Ma'd Wines, and winemaker Gabor Urban, to re-invent dry Furmint from the Tokaj region.. the MM5 fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.. delivered white peach, citrus and nectarine on the nose.. jasmine and freshly cut pineapple too.. the wine only uses a touch of barrique (10% Hungarian oak) to round up the texture.. fresh, vibrant, harmonious and long.. well balanced, with flinty green apple acidity and youthful stone fruit in the mouth.. crisp and clean on the finish..2021 Château Changyu Moser XV 🇨🇳 is made by austrian winemaker Lenz M. Moser.. this White 张裕摩塞尔 🙃 (Cabernet Sauvignon) Blanc de Noir resembles a Rosé with a very light salmon colour, but is technically a White wine because its colour comes from the juice and not the skin soaking as with a Rosé.. stainless steel aged, the wine had a lovely freshness and nice acidity.. grapefruit, lemon and exotic fruit notes, with a spicy palate.. bone dry, despite the impression of a certain 'sweetness' in the mouth.. good grip on the nice, clean finish..Lovely food by Chef @vitor.claroFirst Red was Tiago Macena's 'Código' 🇵🇹 @codigowines .. the Red 2022 'Solstício' is a blend of 'Tinta Pinheira 🍇 and Jaen 🍇'.. bright ruby red coloured, delicate and crunchy.. delicious in the mouth, with lots of juicy red fruit, acid cherries.. very light and lots of freshness.. fine tannins.. a beautiful 'Dão de Soif'!The 2021 El Garbi Grenache Red 🇪🇸 delivered rich red fruit aromas and flavours, with balanced tannins and subtle spice.. so very enjoyable.. some say 'Garnacha' is Mediterranean’s answer to Pinot Noir and this was truly delightful.. perfumed and delicate, maybe like a cross between a young red Burgundy and a Beaujolais.. lots of cherries, floral violets and cool graphite.. fresh and juicy, with 5% of Garnacha Blanca, and vibrant red fruit on the palate.. pure and mineral, with bright acidity to balance the wine's soft tannins.. seven months in used French oak added some spice..#supergrapes
