'How to Wine' series: Professional wine serving tips from a sommelier.

Welcome to our 'How to Wine' short series! (Part 1/3)Here we have our honored guest, the head sommelier @panpacifichotel showcasing the art of serving wine professionally to customers. A true master at his works. We believe that good wine speaks for itself but is even better when served the right way!The steps mentioned in the video:Step 1: Insert key wine - press the screw of the wine key against the cork, start twisting the key wine around its pivot point and lightly push inward. Stop when your thumb can lightly touch the bottle's mouth.Step 2: Pull out the cork - pull the cork out with straight hands, using the lever at each level to support your strength. Changing the level of the lever is essential at this step, yanking the cork without the support of the lever would usually result in a broken cork, and fragments of cork that could remain inside the neck of the bottle.Step 3: Save cork - saving the cork has always been a tradition or hobby, rather, for wine enjoyers. Who doesn't love the fragrance of a good wine? Or it could work flawlessly as a fire starter (literally and figuratively).Step 4: Clean bottle mouth - you don't want to leave any small chunks of the cork on the rim. Pro tip: use a clean black towel because black is color absorbent, meanwhile, a white or colored towel would leave streaks of wine on top after cleaning.Stay tuned for upcoming episodes coming next week!Cheers!#chinesewine #ningxia #trynewthings #discovernewwines #winelover #lovewine #ningxiawine #chateauchangyumoserxv #葡萄酒 #wineinstagram #howtowine #howto #sommelier
