Ningxia Cabernet Sauvignon berries ripening nicely, preparing for harvest.

Checks in the vineyard earlier today and our little Ningxia Cabernet Sauvignon berries are coming along nicely. 🍇 We hope to see veraison (when the red grapes ripen and change colour) in late July / early August. Harvest time Ningxia in general starts in September, and last a couple of weeks. At the chateau changyu-Moser the importance is to leave the grapes to be as ripe as possible before picking to ensure the sugars and tannins are perfect. last year @lenz_m_moser started early October (3rd October, a week later than usual for the estate) ‘the intensity of the fruit was expressive as never before. They were the best grapes I have ever worked with in Ningxia.’ 💪 Here’s to a wonderful 2020 harvest too. 😊 #chinesewine #ningxiawines #cabernetsauvignon🍷 #vineyards #vineyard #veraison #harvest #bestquality #grapes
