After defining the style of our wines - ELEGANCE AND FRUIT, we are now going after the most pure expression of out regiona and the chateau itself. GOAL: when you stick your nose into one of our wines, you will know its us! ( as BDX is ever so typical ).

***Typicity–making sure you smell, taste, recognize, our wines immediately–
***Modernity- consumers expect a much more modern - fruit and elegance - product (less alcohol and still great taste )
***Sense of place – again, chateau wines have to be tied to a place, unmistakable Ningxia, Changyu Moser XV

Therefore the product has to evolve into a much more naturally made wine, working much more in sync with mother nature to bring out a new and “zeitgeisty” product:
1. No more additives – we are much too technical winemakers, still
- No acidity added – rather harvesting earlier for an acidity reserve
- No tannins added – rather go for mature tannins in the grapes
- Drier wines – rather letting the berries express themselves much better
- Lower alcohol is a must – working in the vineyards ( leaf work ), water management
- Using more 500L barrels – to reduce “wood influence / taste” and bring out the Ningxia fruit much more – we have tannins enough in the berries
- Organic vineyards – this is a must anyway
- Blending more varieties – for more complexity ( ME, P. VER, SYR, MAL )
